Viable Opportunities for Indigenous Created Economies (VOICE’s) goal is to support and advance Indigenous economic development by fostering Indigenous people’s individual and collective abilities, and considering the needs and aspirations of Indigenous communities, thereby supporting the goals and objectives of Indigenous communities and governments.

We support communities through our work, and view ourselves as collaborators assisting individuals, organizations, and communities in achieving their goals, rather than as outside experts. We are flexible in our approaches to problem-solving, and acknowledge that the most successful projects are both well-planned and able to adapt to changing dynamics. We are nimble, responsive, and excel at projects requiring quickly gathering and engaging resources.

We work with you to identify opportunities. We can help you seek external funding to leverage your resources and support your priorities. We are problem-solvers and convergent thinkers, and we work in partnership with communities – reach out to us to learn more about the ways we can assist.
Where we connect
Our team members have been honoured to be invited into over 45 Indigenous communities across British Columbia in the last 5 years alone. We make authentic connections, and listen and speak with our hearts, respecting the wisdom and lived experiences of our ancestors and Elders. We build relationships with empathy and a deep respect for diverse culture. While we work remotely when budgets necessitate – we recognize there is no substitute for face-to-face communication, sharing meals, laughter, and spending time together.
We also respect the principles of OCAP (ownership, control, access, and possession) – if you would like to learn more about projects we have completed, we are delighted to request permission from our past clients to share examples applicable to your current projects.
